ibis Styles Annecy Centre Gare

The absence of aesthetics in ibis hotels is always a challenge, but for an overnight stay in transit, the accommodation meets all the necessary requirements: the room is clean, the bed really comfy, the shower great and the breakfast generous and fresh. What annoyed me was being told after booking that the parking space was limited and subject to a charge (€16). In the end there was no free space in the hotel parking and we parked in the Chevêne parking garage, a 5-minute walk from the hotel: Recommended - ibis covers the cost of parking during the night. Hotel location: approx. 10 min. walk to the old town.

The facilities were great and comfortable. I liked the well-lit bedroom, the bathroom and the garage with the lift close by and the trolley for the bags. The staff was nice, the hotel is central and close to Annecy centre. The breakfast was also very good and varied.

Room was a bit small but having twin beds made that more noticeable. Bathroom and shower good. We were right by the lift on the top floor but hardly heard any noise despite hotel being pretty full. Breakfast very good too. Slightly out of town centre but we really enjoyed the walk along the river, about 15 mins to lake. So all round would stay again.

Excellent breakfast with the bonus of free tea and coffee at all times. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. The underground parking (if a little tight!) was very useful as parking in Annecy is difficult.

Very clean, excellent firm bed and very helpful staff. Lovely town with great restaurants, just a fifteen minutes walk. The hotel is great for one or two nights, and a great breakfast, I would definitely stay there again
